Yes, 2020 was a shitshow of a year. Sometimes I wonder what I even did, so I made a list of highlights for myself.

Professional

• Tried out leading a team.
• Got promoted at Storyblocks over the summer.
• Joined data engineering.
• Virtual talk for NOVA Cloud And Software Engineering Group.
• Contributed articles to “97 Things Every Cloud Engineer Should Know”.

Personal

• Silks: straight arm/leg straddle up, sailor climb
• Lyra: forward roll (1x)
• General: managed l-sit, headstand, back kickover
• Tech Captain aka tech support for GOTV campaigns.
• Election official-ed for November.

Things like travel and performances didn’t pan out (as you’d expect), but I think it was a good go. Cheers.
